So that the actors would be able to open a can on stage every night, I created a sleeve out of a beer can by cutting out the top and a small triangle from the side. I covered the side cut out with white gaff tape for stretch and painted it to color match the can. I placed a piece of foam in the bottom of the can so that our cans of juice would sit flush with the top. I then created a false back to the box used a third empty can to fill the extra space in the row. Then I used double sided tape to reseal the box.

This production used a lot of fake blood! I used a corn syrup-based recipe that washed completely out of costumes (even if it sat over night)
